This is one video you will have to watch with cube in hand. My wife knits while watching TV and I usually have a deck of cards in hand. My cube may just replace the deck.

The second video teaches the tricks and a few cube flourishes. You actually do not have to know how to solve the cube to do the routines but you do have to start with a fully solved cube. If your cube is mixed, go back to the first video and learn how to remedy that. Every routine on this video is possible to be done by the average person but they will require a lot of practice.

And if you want to learn throwing the cube behind your back, practice over a soft surface because you will be dropping it regularly until you get the knack down or practice with something other than your cube.

Once you get the moves down, the skill learned will do wonders for your dexterity. Although the actual mechanics of the routines are fairly simple, they are killers. Each and every one is a reputation maker. We have all seen thirty five dollar tricks that are not worth the money. This one definitely is. You get not only the video but a quality prop to go with it. This is not a trick you buy today and do tonight but if you take the time to learn it properly, you will have something you will always use.

Posted: Oct 24, pm. I bought this trick 3 months ago. Zero knowledge on Rubik's cube before so it took me a month just to learn and be comfortable in solving the cube. Now I can solve it in less than 2 min. Anyways, that is the solving part. The other part is getting faster in doing the moves. It took me a week for the sleight of hand secret moves. I had to buy 5 other cubes from different manufacturers from Amazon to find the feel of cube I am looking for. If you have spectators that wasn't to grab for it, let them.

There is nothing to find because it is a regular cube. The algorithms for solving the cube are very good and will only take a week or so of constant practice to learn efficiently. Once you have this, you will destroy people with an impossible effect that cannot be recreated by them. Buy if you are ready to put in the hours! I didn't really know what to expect. I am not familiar with speed cube.

And I have never solved one, ever! But I loved the idea. I have a TV show next week and I thought I could perform it. I was so wrong. It is totally ungimmicked and you have to know how to solve the cube before you can perform the tricks.

Everything is explained by Steven in great lengths. There is a learning curve, which means, it will be different for everyone. I start at the bottom and I don't have much time to spend on a new piece like this one so I don't expect I will perform this in the near future.

I've never done cubic cube magic before so my first surprise was how easy the rubix cube was to use. It moves so smoothly and as Steven says, silently. Why I love this so much is how organised it is! If you already know how to solve a rubix cube, you can move straight onto the second dvd, however for people like me Steven teaches you everything you need to know very clearly.

He's an enjoyable guy to watch as well making teaching more fun! It is made clear however that after watching all of this just once you won't be able to instantly do it all! However I beleive that if you dedicate a weekend watching and re watching you could have all these moves down by the Monday! It really dosnt seem as hard as it looks! The only reason being is I can't think of a negative to say about it.

It is the perfect way to go from a beginner into looking like you've dedicated your life to it yet it taking just a short period of time! I highly recommend! This is an awesome piece of magic. I was love with speedcubing as a child and finally i am able to combine it with magic. He teaches how to solve the cube, so that you can practice the tricks.

The only problem is the credibility Its super fun. I went from not being able to solve a rubies cube to being able to do all these cool tricks within a week!
